• Looking to replace your current laundry detergent, grate a few bars of soap and add a couple of tablespoons to the wash (trial and error here dependant on the size of your washing machine, load and how dirty the load is.

• Prefer a liquid detergent? Soap down to the last slither? Put it into a 500ml jar and fill with water. Keep adding the “lasts” to the jar and when the soap has dissolved and is thickened, use in place of liquid laundry detergent.

• LMF soap is also wonderful to use in the laundry. As a stain remover, particularly on oil and grease stains, grate Lemon Myrtle Fragrances soap (about 10 gm into a litre of warm water, stir till it dissolves) allow it to cool and then use on stains – rub in, allow to soak and then wash normally.  (Always patch test first on an inconspicuous spot).
