Now, more than ever, personal hygiene MUST be a part of our daily routine. Not just because of the pandemic issues and the regular hand sanitising, but because there are germs and viruses everywhere, always, and so it's important to think about what we touch, putting our fingers in our mouths or on our face, and how we scrub-a-dub-dub, without getting rid of the GOOD bacteria! Lemon myrtle has antimicrobial and antifungal  properties that are superior to those of the popular tea tree oil. As a result, it has potential as a natural food preservative; as an antiseptic, surface disinfectant. 

Here in Australia, our summer season starts in December and goes right through until the end of February, but depending where you are, it can be pretty warm through much of Autumn and Spring as well. It's the time of the year where we have longer days, shorter nights, and people are outdoors socialising, exercising and relaxing!
