The natural plant derived ingredients in Lemon Myrtle Fragrance products are harvested from farms in Australia including Certified Organic farms where possible. Lemon Myrtle Fragrances is an established business of over 20 years with experience in developing recipes using high quality lemon myrtle oil which meets the therapeutic standard.

Lemon Myrtle Fragrances products are free from animal by-products (our Lip Balm does contain beeswax) petrochemicals, mineral oils, artificial fragrances and artificial colours making them safe for use on sensitive skin.

Lemon Myrtle oil has proven germicidal, antibacterial and antiseptic qualities which make the products effective, safe and environmentally friendly for cleaning and deodorising around the home. Lemon Myrtle Fragrance Essential oil is naturally refreshing and rejuvenating in skin products and is ideal for sensitive skin and for maintaining healthy skin.

Can the lemon myrtle fragrance products be used by people with sensitive skin?

The naturally germicidal and antibacterial properties of the products provide a solution to many skin issues, such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and minor itching and dryness. Regular customers report dramatic improvement in their skin after using the soap, hair products and moisturisers.

Is there Palm Oil is Lemon Myrtle Fragrance products?

Lemon Myrtle Fragrances is a licensed RSPO member and regularly complete the supply chain audit. We only source products from suppliers who are members of the RSPO community and can assure us, that the source of their Palm Oil and Palm Oil derivatives are from Mass Balance or Segregated sources. We have removed suppliers who cannot supply RSPO approved license with their products.

What do you mean by “all natural” products?

There is increased awareness regarding all natural products especially in the last decades as people have become more exposed to chemicals in their daily lives. Many producers are able to use the term natural and in some cases organic certification, including overseas organic certification does not completely rule out the use of chemicals in skin and beauty products. However you can be confident that all natural for Lemon Myrtle Fragrances means that all the products are made from plant derived ingredients and do not contain any animal fats. This means that the products not contain mineral oils or petrochemicals such as parabens.

Are the products really safe?

Creating skin care products from all natural ingredients with natural preservatives has been a challenge however has been achieved with experimentation over the last 10 years by Lemon Myrtle Fragrances. The products are tested each  production run for stability and safety before the products are released for sale. This means that the is no presence of bacteria or fungi and the products will last for up to three years from the date of manufacture, which is shorter than for products that contain chemical based preservatives.  However, our experience is, most customers will completely use the product before the expiry date . The natural preservatives include essential oils, plant extracts and vitamins, many of which have antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

The content of essential oil in each product is limited to the recommended safe amounts for skin application. For  people with allergies and sensitivities to a range of both chemical and natural ingredients we recommend that a topical test is applied before use, and that use of the product is reduced or ceased if there is a reaction.
