The benefits of using natural products

The benefits of using natural products!

More and more people are becoming aware that what they put ON their body, matters as much as what they put IN their body. Choosing natural products is just as important, as choosing spray-free foods, and we're sharing with you all the benefits of choosing natural products, as well as some of the ingredients you need to look out for and be wary of!

3 reasons why you should switch to NATURAL products!

1. They're good for your overall health!

Natural products that are made from plants are much better for your body than those products containing synthetic chemicals. Chemicals can contain harmful ingredients that can harm our health over time. With natural products, you are giving back to your body the natural chemicals it already has. Chemicals made in a lab can be foreign to our bodies and we should be selective about applying them to our skin - our bodies' largest organ.

2. Extra bonus benefits!

Natural products such as Lemon Myrtle Fragrances, don't have artificial colours, or harmful chemicals in them, instead, our products are naturally antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal. Amazing!

3. No artificial scent

With natural products, there's no artificial scent, but rather, organic and natural fragrances from essential oils. Lemon Myrtle is everyone's favourite for its fresh, lemony zest, so perfect as a pick-me-up.

Ingredients to avoid in your beauty products:

  1. Synthetic fragrance or artificial "perfume"
  2. Phthalates which can be found in soaps, shampoos, deodorants, body lotions, nail polishes, hair sprays, aftershave lotions
  3. Parabens which are often found in shampoos, face cleansers, body washes, body lotions, foundations
  4. PEG, found in creams, sunscreens, and shampoos
  5. Retinol can be found in some moisturisers, anti-ageing skincare
  6. Sodium Laureth Sulfate; found in shampoos, body washes, bubble baths
  7. Triclosan & Triclocarban in some liquid soaps, soap bars, toothpastes
  8. Benzalkonium Chloride found in deodorants, sunscreens, moisturisers
  9. Oxybenzone and Avobenzone can be found in some sunscreens, moisturisers
  10. Octinoxate can be found in sunscreens.

Lemon Myrtle Fragrances can confirm we don't use any of these ingredients in any of our products!
