Did you know that around 10% or 1140 tonnes of Macadamia oil produced in 2014 Australia is used in cosmetics?

  • Macadamia oil is close to the same Ph as the skin so is absorbed easily and strengthens the skin.
  • Using macadamia oil, helps you restore your skin's palmitoleic acid levels which lessen with age.
  • This means that the rate of deterioration while keeping your skin taut and discouraging wrinkle formation.
  • It’s good for healing, sunburn, minor irritations and dryness.

If you use moisturizer everyday say you use 15 mls, you would use about 5 kg per year. So by my guesstimates we are producing enough for around 52,000 people per year. Is that enough?

Macadamia oil is the base for Lemon Myrtle Fragrance moisturizers and body lotions, combined with lemon myrtle it has a great affect on the skin, lets hope there is enough sustainable organic production to keep us all going.
