Lemon Myrtle Fragrances Essential Oil is distilled and bottled direct from Australian Lemon Myrtle plantations on the north coast of NSW, the essential lemon myrtle oil is 100% pure and has a high citral content between 90-98%. This means it is a high grade oil suitable for eating and use in cosmetics.
With its antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties, you can add a few drops of 100% Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil to your hand sanitiser. This gives you both the beautiful aroma of Lemon Myrtle, and all of its natural benefits.
The citral content is important for the quality of the oil and it's calming, aromatic and antimicrobial properties. Ideal for many household uses including burning, aromatherapy, therapeutics and cooking, and, is a great cleaning additive with vinegar and water for cleaning floors and other surfaces.
Being pure oil, only small quantities are needed for use in all applications so your bottle should last and last.

General Guide for using Lemon Myrtle Oil:
- Start with a minimum; you can always add more (1 drop).
- Do not apply directly undiluted to the skin as this will burn and irritate.
- If you are using on the skin the dilution recommended is generally 1-2%: 1-2 drops per 100mL.
- For chemical free cleaning of floors, kitchen and other surfaces: 5 - 10 drops, and ½ cup of vinegar in a 9 litre bucket of water for cleaning surfaces or add a few drops to a 500 mls or water in a spray bottle
- Oil Burner or diffuser - 5 drops in water
- Laundry detergent – Add 2-5 drops per litre for a lasting fragrance on your clothes and linen
- Linen rinse - 2-5 drops in the last rinse
- Cooking - dilution of oil is highly important in cooking, start with a minimum of 1-2 drops in 1L of cooking, or if using directly into cakes; follow the recipe closely.
